Our story
2006: Bolwell Holdings (Thailand) Founded
Bolwell Holdings (Thailand) was established in 2006 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bolwell Corporation. The company purchased a ready-built factory at the Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (now WHA ESIE) in Rayong. The facility was designed to produce up to 75,000 composite pieces per year.
2014: Major Strategic Expansion
New State-of-the-Art Factory, Bolwell opened a new 2,624-square-meter facility in June 2014. The expansion was intended to increase cost-competitiveness and better serve major international clients like Caterpillar (CAT), IVECO, Kenworth, and Schneider Electric.
2019–2024: Scaling to Capacity
By the early 2020s, the facility expanded to a covered factory area of over 6,000 square meters. The team grew to over 310 staff members (managers and engineers) to handle high-volume serial production.
2025–2026: Modern Outlook
As of January 2026, the modern outlook for Bolwell Holdings (Thailand) is defined by its role as a high-capacity "serial production" engine for the global Bolwell Group, fully integrated into Thailand's "Smart Manufacturing" and "Thailand 4.0" industrial landscape. Bolwell continues as a major supplier of composite parts for heavy trucks (Kenworth, IVECO) and mining equipment (Caterpillar). Through clients like Schneider Electric, Bolwell produces composite components for the energy and infrastructure sectors. Bolwell Thailand is increasingly positioning itself as a central sourcing hub to export composite solutions to neighboring ASEAN countries, taking advantage of the region's status as a core destination for global manufacturing migration.

The history of Bolwell, from its founding by Campbell Bolwell in the 1960s to its current international presence through Bolwell Holdings (Thailand), reflects a transformation from an Australian sports car brand into a global leader in advanced composite manufacturing.
The Campbell Bolwell Era (1962–1974)
The Dream At age 16, Campbell Bolwell built his first fiberglass car body in his parents' garage after damaging his 1937 Ford. In 1962, he turned this hobby into a formal business in Victoria, Australia.
Automotive Success Along with his brothers and high school friend Linley Hughes, Bolwell produced approximately 800 sports cars across several models, most notably the Mk VII and the V8-powered Nagari.
Transformation to Bolwell Corporation
Composites Pioneer Bolwell rebranded as a specialist in composite molded plastics, supplying components for heavy transport (e.g., Kenworth and Iveco), retail (McDonald's signage), and residential sectors.
